For almost 100 years, Unity of Montclair, which started off on Claremont Ave in Montclair, and now located at 84 Orange Road, has been a generous contributor to and participator in its community. In addition to Sunday Services which are held at 11am, we are proud contributors to our community through outreach programs such as Quilts for the Audrey Hepburn Children’s Home, Gates Manor Senior Home Outreach, tithing to local charities as well as hosting a vibrant and active youth program.
We pride ourselves on being a vibrant inclusive community and for many years, while we held our services at the nearby Women’s Club, we fully lived this truth because their building was ADA compliant. Since moving back into our church home, we have needed many upgrades which included a new roof and the removal of toxic material. Whilst the list is long of things yet to be fixed, we can no longer ignore the lack of accessibility into our sanctuary and community space.
So on Wednesday Oct 4th, 2023, we will be hosting our Music Fest, with food and beverage included. This will be the center of our fundraising efforts and will feature the amazing talents of our local musicians who include Carol Vasquez, Dave Stryker, Matt King, Bobby Harden, Dave Rimelis, Tom Spingler, Paul Avrutin and Jonathon Peretz .
